She was not always happy. That was the secret nobody noticed. She had worries too, unanswered questions, moments when she wondered whether she was doing enough. Yet somehow, she kept finding ways to make other people smile. She became the person who sent the encouraging message, told the silly joke, remembered the little details, and stayed a little longer when someone needed company. She did not have a perfect life; she simply refused to believe that imperfection meant she had nothing beautiful to give.

People thought her brightness came naturally. They did not see the effort behind it. They did not see the days when she had to remind herself that tomorrow could be better. But perhaps that was what made her sunshine meaningful. She did not shine because she had never known darkness. She shone because she had.

And maybe that is what she was born to doโ€”not save everyone, because no human being can carry the whole world, but remind a few people that they are worth saving, worth loving, worth believing in. If one person smiled because of her, if one person found courage because of her words, if one person decided to keep believing in goodness because she had shown them some, then perhaps her little light had already served a purpose.
